The New High-Resolution Mini-Enviro Camera with a 24" flexible wired Gooseneck Rod is great for investigating hard to reach areas where a small, flexible heavy-duty camera is required. Utilize in areas like smoke shelves, inspecting beneath the hearth via the ashpit door, and accessing attics and crawlspaces.
At less than 1.5” diameter, the HD Mini-Enviro Camera makes it easy to scan:
· Chases
· Firepits via the ash dump door
· Areas in an appliance
· Any other areas where a small, flexible heavy-duty camera is required.

This image was taken under a hearth and shows plywood and combustible materials beneath. A portion of the plywood has been charred near the ash dump door opening. Additionally, wood is incorporated into the support structure.

Utilizing the Enviro Camera attached to a Gooseneck Rod is effective for inspecting clearances in an attic. The Gooseneck's flexibility allows for easy bending and positioning of the camera into areas that are typically difficult to access.
Inspecting a chimney chase without removal of the chase pan.
1. Drill a hole with a 1.5" or 2" hole saw to gain access to the prefabricated chimney chase interior. Insert the Enviro Camera and Scan. After the inspection, plug the hole with a steel plug or 4"x4" sheet metal plate with zip screws and sealant. See below left. |
2. Insert plug when finished and seal as desired. See below right. |
