Chim-Scan® J3D™ Chimney Inspection Camera - Two cameras in one!

​The J3D™ Camera for internal chimney inspections was custom-designed right here in Iowa, and some parts are 3-D printed in our shop. Since we designed the parts, we ensured this chimney inspection camera is rugged, durable, and dependable. Use it to take images and videos at zero degrees (straight up/down), tilted 45 degrees up or down, or for 90-degree side views. Since it is a one-piece camera, it is 6" shorter than the Lighthouse™ Combo Camera. The J3D chimney camera is ideal for visually scanning fireplace flues, masonry flues, through thimbles, dampers and prefabricated metal chimney systems. The top camera is not removable. Custom designed and 3-D printed in-house!

The J3D Camera features 12 LED Lights on the top camera and 9 lights above and 9 below the camera lens. It also features 90° tilt and a 360° continuous rotation.

The Chim-Scan® J3D™ Chimney Inspection Camera includes both top and bottom whiskers, flexible spring with rod adapter and removable wheels for offsets and thimbles.

The Chim-Scan® J3D™ Camera features a total of 30 LED Lights. It has a 90-degree tilt range and a 360-degree continuous rotation capability.

The J3D™ Chimney Camera merges the features of the Lighthouse™ Tilt and the Envrio Camera into one tough, heavy-duty 3-D printed chimney camera. This new camera is great for smaller work areas and features a one-piece design.

• The top camera provides that straight up or down view.
• The Tilt portion of the camera provides a joint or side wall view.
• The J3D has a 90° tilt range providing a 5 to 10” inches of vertical view, depending on the liner’s size. It tilts continuously or can stop at any point. Now you can tilt and rotate simultaneously, and the camera is still 2” inches round.
• Six inches shorter than the Lighthouse Combo Camera - great for small areas.
• Lightweight yet durable
• A switch on the controller allows you to flip back and forth between views/cameras while scanning.
• If you're recording video, the image will switch back and forth without stopping the recording.
• This camera includes four stabilizer whiskers at the top and the bottom of the cameras to space it from the chimney walls.
• Includes both orange and white Whisker Stabilizers
• ​Use this camera to scan masonry and prefab chimneys and will fit through a thimble.
• The J3D can be used to scan prefabs or masonry flues. 
• Designed and created in our lab in Fairfield, IA.
• The camera includes one rod adaptor.  Customer must specify Kwik-Lock, Ro-Vac, Snaplock or Torque Fit.​

The Chim-Scan® Enviro Camera on a Gooseneck Rod is great for hard-to-reach scanning jobs such as smoke shelves, ash pits, crawl spaces and more!

The Chim-Scan® J3D™ Chimney Camera is shown with White Whisker Stabilizers. Each camera includes white and orange whisker stabilizers.

​The White whiskers with balls on the end are meant for Masonry Flues and can handle flues up to 13x13. But you can cut the stick to fit in smaller flues but we suggest you use the orange ones.
If you deal with Larger flues -( 18x18, 20x24, etc), let us know when ordering and we'll make you a custom set.

The Orange whiskers are meant for Smaller Masonry and Prefab/Metal flues. They are also adjustable, but their maximum effectiveness ends at 8". 

The orange whisker stabilizers are also included with the Lighthouse™ Tilt camera. White stabilizers are also included.
