Myrtle is an example of our standard loaner.

Chim-Scan Rentals/Loaners:

• Pink Cases 
• Can use Any Chim-Scan camera, except the old Remote Focuses and AFTs​
• Each Unit and Camera have a name - we try to stick to old-fashioned names, but you may get some pop culture/character names.   
  • ​For example, the unit shown here is Myrtle.
• Do you need just a camera? You can rent it.
• Do you need just a controller? You can rent it.
• If you need a controller and a camera together, you can rent them.​  

Rentals are only available to existing Chim-Scan customers.

How to get a Rental/Loaner unit:

1. Call or email for availability 
2.  We will ask questions about your broken unit to see what needs to return.
3. If we have one available,
   • We’ll send you an Invoice for $125 to cover shipping both ways.​
   • Once that’s paid, we’ll box up the rental/loaner and send it to you via UPS.
   •  Once the rental has arrived according to the tracking number,
     • ​You have a week to ship your unit back to us for repair or update.
     • Once this week has passed, we will charge you $150 a week until your unit arrives.                                                                            
4.  Rentals are free to use while yours is here being repaired.
5. Once we return your unit, you have one week to return our rental, we will bill you $175 per week.
6. Any repairs needed to the loaner upon returning to us will be billed to you.​
7. We reserve the right to refuse to send rentals/loaners to anyone with an outstanding bill of over $1000
