The Retro Chim-Scan® Screen Shooter intro and how to use
The Screen Shooter is a simple but game-changing tool I designed to make capturing clear, glare-free screen images easier — especially for those who use their phones in the field. I’ve heard from plenty of users who struggle with reflections and background distractions when taking photos of their screens, so this updated version solves exactly that.
Unlike the older polarizer version, this new design lets you mount your smartphone directly inside the unit, using foam pads and brackets to keep it snug. Once it’s in place, just open your camera app and snap away — no more glare, even under bright light or outdoor conditions.
It’s lightweight, portable, and easy to set up or pack down. The built-in bracket keeps the view steady while you scan, giving you sharper, more consistent results. And yes, we’re already working on a version for the model 211. Feedback’s been great so far, and I’m confident it’ll make your inspections a lot smoother.
