We introduce the top-down scanning process, explaining its importance for modern inspections and reports. Working in active environments, we emphasize safety and preparation. Our essential gear includes a cap for sun protection, safety glasses, flashlight, respirator, towel, and electrical tape. We organize all items efficiently in a bag—ensuring cables, cameras, and batteries are secure. The towel protects camera lines from abrasion, while taped connectors keep cables centered and stable during operation. Modern lightweight units simplify handling compared to older models. With proper PPE, balance, and setup, we ensure a safe, efficient scan. Once everything is ready, we proceed to the roof to begin the inspection.
