REPAIRS & UPGRADES

LIGHTS
When these cameras come in for repair, we will change the tops of the cameras to the newer style.

Reasons:
  1. Having the extra light makes things easier to see and your photos clearer
  2. The cost of creating the brass plate used in 2nd Gen of Lighthouse cameras has gone up and it is cheaper for you if we update it.
  3. The newest version has the whisker holder built in, so you do not have to worry about losing or breaking the whisker holder.
See the newest version at right.

ADDING THE TILT FEATURE
The Tilt Feature can be added to all Lighthouse cameras. The tilt adds 6 to 10 inches to the view of the Lighthouse™ Camera, depending on the size of the chimney being scanned. This camera can tilt continuously or be stopped at any point, all with the flip of a switch. Now you can tilt and rotate/pan simultaneously, and the camera is still 2" inches round.
The camera now has built in Whisker Holders and includes both white and orange Whiskers.

PictureThe J3D Camera includes flex adaptor, Tilting side camera, top camera, 30 bright LED lights, stabilizers and removable wheels.
UPGRADE TO J3D
We take the older camera, break it down into its fundamental parts, throw in some new parts, reassemble, and Poof - You've got a New Camera with 2 views.
The J3D is the Combo Camera's newest version, meaning you have 2 cameras. The
Bonuses of the J3D:
- Whisker holders for the Orange and the White whiskers are built into the top and bottom. (Orange Whiskers and wheels are shown in the picture.)
- It has removable wheels for those nasty offsets and thimbles.
- There is a spring on the end of the camera to help it navigate through dampers, offsets, and thimbles. The spring is also removable, but we don't suggest that.
Side Note: New J3D cameras come automatically with the tilt feature unless specified. However, updated/upgraded J3Ds won't have a tilt feature unless we have the unit the camera goes with. This is because the tilt feature won't work without the tilt switch. If you have an older unit with a tilt switch, it may be wired for the old AFT camera, which won't work for the newer cameras. If you have questions about this, please ask.
